Remote Package Quality Inspector (Work from home)

A part-time, home-based role open across the United States. Test parcels come to your door; you tell us how well they survived the trip.

Open role

Every claim we settle begins with one question: what happened to this box between the packing table and the doorstep? Northgate Hub is building a network of Remote Package Quality Inspectors across the US to answer it. We send test parcels (ceramics, apparel, bike parts, pantry goods) through ordinary carriers to your home. You open each one, grade it, repack it, and send it on. The work is part-time and fully remote, with pay each month.

A week goes like this. A few test shipments arrive at your address. For each one you work through the inspector checklist: outer carton, cushioning, seals, and the contents themselves. You photograph what you find and log it in the Northgate Hub inspector app, and anything crushed, wet, opened, or missing is flagged straight to our claims analysts. Then you repack the goods the right way (we supply the materials and the method) and forward the parcel to the next address on your list. Now and then the claims team will book a short video call to walk through a case with you.

Pay and schedule

  • $4,000 a month, with a performance bonus on top
  • Fully remote, anywhere in the US. The parcels travel to you
  • Part-time hours that flex around carrier delivery windows
  • Your phone and our app are the only tools you need

What we ask for

  • US resident aged 21 or over, with a stable home address and a clean background check
  • A smartphone with a decent camera and a reliable internet connection
  • Attention to detail (you are the person who notices the dented corner) and the ability to lift 40 lb
